DCU Changemaker Schools Network
Resources Available
When schools become DCU Changemaker Schools they are offered:
- Continuous teacher professional development
- Schools feature on the website and in newsletters
- Schools are invited to CPD sessions biannually which consist of a hybrid of school visits and CPD in DCU pertaining to their DCU CSN status
- Schools are invited to a one in-person conference per annum
- Schools are supported in clustering arrangements, coaching and teacher learning circles
- Schools are supported to develop communities of practice in their own schools and with others pertaining to research and other pedagogies
- Schools are supported to develop their schools as research hubs and engage with Cosan
They also receive:
- Tailored CPD for their whole school including childen, all staff and Change team,
- Support for the development of theri DCU Changemaker Schools Plan,
- Invitations to annual CPD in the Univeristy, at other schools and a Conference.
- Schools are provided with images and information for their websites.
- Schools are provided with a toolkit, compendium and worksheets for their children.
- As schools develop as DCU Changemaker Schools they are provided with support for the development of Children's Rights in education, citizenship and 21st century learning.
