If you joined the public sector on or after 1 January 2013, you’re a member of a Single Public Service Pension Scheme. See specific information about your scheme in the Single Scheme Member Information Booklet and in this video about your scheme.
What are my pension contributions?
You contribute both:
- 3% of gross pensionable salary
- 3.5% of net pensionable salary (1.5% to lump sum and 1.5% to spouse and children's pension)
