Public Symposium. 1918 The Politics of Radicalisation
Join us to hear how and why politics in Ireland, and elsewhere in Europe, became radicalised during 1918.
In our third annual public symposium, charting and putting into context the events of Ireland's revolutionary decade, the School of History and Geography, Dublin City University, announces '1918: the politics of radicalisation'.
Our keynote speaker will be Professor Diarmaid Ferriter (UCD), while other speakers include Mark Duncan (Century Ireland), Maria Falina (DCU), Mark Jones (UCD), Leeann Lane (DCU), Ida Milne (Maynooth University), Daithí Ó Corráin (DCU), Pauric Travers (former President, St Patrick's College, Drumcondra), and Fionnuala Walsh (UCD).
