Corporate Compliance
Welcome to the Corporate Compliance section of the University's website.
The University operates in a complex and ever changing legal environment and this, taken together with a low tolerance for not meeting its legal responsibilities and obligations as set out in the DCU Risk Appetite Statement, can make achieving compliance a challenge.
To meet this challenge the University understands the importance of having strong governance in place, including a framework to identify and manage its compliance obligations.
This section of the website provides information on how the University implements that system.
The University has identified the key legislation that comprises its Corporate Compliance Framework (CCF) as referenced in the Compliance Policy.
For each piece of legislation the primary contact/Compliance Manager, and the unit or function whose responsibilities most closely aligns to the subject matter of the legislation, is also provided.
