From our excellent facilities and digital campus to one-to-one tutoring and workshops on study techniques, learning is supported every step of the way.
International Office
At DCU we have a dedicated International Office which works closely with students at all stages of the recruitment and education cycle.
The International Office team answers queries about programmes, entry requirements, visas and immigration by phone, email, and at international education fairs.
Muslim students are supported by consideration for prayers by lecturers, and the on-campus Inter Faith Centre has male and female prayer rooms.
All chicken and lamb served in campus restaurants and cafés is halal.
Personal support
Going to university is a whole new way of living for many people. Student Support & Development Services help with student well-being and adjustment to university life. Our friendly staff in the DCU Student Advice Centre is there to help everyone with academic, personal and financial queries. Students can get advice on managing money, go to study skills or career development workshops or talk privately to an advisor. Our campus Student Health Service is staffed by doctors, nurses, counselling and personal development professionals.
Study support
At DCU we help student Improve their learning and study skills by getting advice on how to complete assignments at study skills sessions. Students can get one-to-one or group support. Students can also make the most of the library by learning research and study skills at a library workshop.
Library
The DCU library is an ideal space to work and study in peace. Each floor has study areas for individual or group study. Work or research using WiFi or library PCs and printers. Our library has books, journals and databases across all subject areas and our library staff is here to give students help and advice.
