This course is aimed at those looking to undertake a systematic review or those who wish to use a systematic approach to literature searching.

Course Description:

Effective techniques for systematically searching the literature. While this session will focus on planning and developing your search strategy and advanced search techniques, it will also include the following topics:

  • Systematic Reviews vs systematic searching
  • Formulating your research question
  • Defining inclusion / exclusion criteria
  • Identifying and selecting appropriate resources
  • Managing your results
