A critical part of any academic's career is engagement with society - critical as it competes with concrete outputs or product supply. 

My engagement is through education whether for children or senior adults in an informal or formal setting outside of teacher education but as an expression of the principle of such teaching. 

This time-giving and experience-sharing speaks to a generosity that the world needs more of.
