Community Outreach

DCU in the Community is a bridge to higher education. Our mission is:

"To provide educational opportunities to local people in North Dublin in order to increase participation levels and to promote equality in third level education."

We provide educational opportunities to the people in North Dublin, promoting equality in third level education and increasing participation levels. 

In 2025, DCU in the Community will continue to expand and improve its services, working with the City of Dublin Education and Training Board in Ballymun and the Dublin Northwest and Northside partnerships, offering courses and initiatives in partnership with the Adult Education Service and other community groups in the area, including the Ballymun and Finglas libraries.
