Feis Ceoil Win for Choir

DCU Lumen Chorale won the Lombard Murphy Cup for Sacred Music at the Feis Ceoil 2019. The choir’s winning performance included the plainchant ‘Occurrunt Turbe’ and the Renaissance motet ‘Dixit Maria ad Angelum’ by Hans Leo Hassler. The DCU Lumen Chorale consists of all students of the Bachelor of Religious Education and Music programme, and is conducted by Dr Róisín Blunnie.
