Boylan Award for BRelEd Music Student of the Year

The Boylan Award for B.Rel.Ed. Music Student of the Year 2017 was awarded following the recent graduation of the B.Rel.Ed. class of 2017. The award is presented each year in memory of Fr. David Boylan, by his family, to a Music student who has made an outstanding academic and cultural contribution throughout his/her studies. This year, the prize was awarded jointly to two worthy recipients: Laura Sheils from Co Offaly and Daniel Connell from Co Westmeath. Daniel is currently teaching in St Finian's College in Mullingar, while Laura is undertaking further studies in Music at the Kodály Institute in Hungary. Congratulations to Laura and Daniel, and to all our students who graduated recently.
