Feis Ceoil Success for DCU Lumen Chorale
DCU Lumen Chorale recently took part in Dublin's Feis Ceoil 2017 at the RDS. This was the choir's first competitive outing, and they were delighted to be awarded first prize in the mixed-choir competition. The choir performed 'Kyrie' from Missa Sancti Joannis de Deo by Joseph Haydn, and Esti Dal by Zoltán Kodály. DCU Lumen Chorale is made up of students taking Music as part of DC012, the Bachelor of Religious Education and Music Programme. The choir is led by Dr Róisín Blunnie and Dr Seán Doherty of the School of Theology, Philosophy, and Music.
