Dr Kearney Chairs Plenary Lecture

Dr Jonathan Kearney recently chaired the plenary lecture of Professor Elisheva Baumgarten (Hebrew University of Jerusalem) at the 30th Irish Conference of Medievalists in Maynooth.

The Conference was held from 30 June – 2 July 2016. Professor Baumgarten’s lecture was entitled: “‘Like Adam and Eve, Like Abraham and Sara’: Biblical Models and Jewish Daily Life in Medieval Christian Europe.” Dr Kearney also reviewed Professor Baumgarten’s most recent book Practicing Piety in Medieval Ashkenaz: Men, Women, and Everyday Religious Observance [University of Pennsylvania Press, 2014] for the Irish Theological Quarterly.
