THE 8TH FIDELIO TRIO WINTER CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL

GlasDrum and Music at DCU are delighted to announce the programme for its 8th Winter Chamber Music Festival led by the renowned Fidelio Trio comprising Darragh Morgan (violin) Tim Gill (cello) Mary Dullea (piano). This year’s festival from Friday 27 November through to Sunday 29 November takes the form of online releases at 7.30pm each evening, of concerts recorded at Syde Manor Barn Concert Hall in Gloucester, England. Friday evening features works for piano trio by celebrated Irish composer and pianist Joan Trimble along with new music by Robert Saxton. A selction of chamber works by Ravel is presented on Saturday evening when the Trio are joined by Irish flautist Emer McDonagh. The Saturday evening programme commemorates the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth and features the world premiere of a new work by David Fennessy.
