The Research Project Administration (RPA) Team, based in DCU’s Mary Brück Building (Post Graduate Building B), provides high quality, professional conference and event organisation services which are easily and readily accessible to all academics in DCU’s Campuses, Faculties, Schools, Research Centres etc. The RPA Team’s services are comparable to external PCO’s and support is available for all types of events (conferences, symposia, workshops, project meetings etc.). Customised support for full event management and also stand-alone support packages are available based on hourly administrative rates or your available funding. See below for more information. The Research Project Administration team has a wealth of experience with large conferences and symposia and we can provide a full range of professional services for the organisation of your large Research Event. There is a number of support packages available which can be tailored to suit your event needs according to your available budget. The non-exhaustive list of administrative activities that can be selected for your event include general administration, bid preparation, budget preparation and book of abstract compilation (see listing here). Our billing is based on an assessment following an initial consultation outlining your event requirements and support requested. Ideally, support for your Research Event should be requested as far in advance as possible to allow for adequate planning and preparation.
The Research Project Administration team treats each Research Event with the same level of professionalism and dedication, and smaller Research Events such as Workshops, Project Meetings and Site Visits are no exception. This support is available on a billable basis to all DCU Campuses, Schools, Faculties, Research Centres and Projects. The Research Project Administration Team can provide a number of support packages that can be customised to your needs and “bought in” to augment support for any event you may be organising. Packages include general event support and administration (preparation of delegate name badges, signage etc.), management of poster calls, preparation and compilation of book of abstracts, travel and accommodation arrangements for invited keynote speakers and other support as required.
