MEI 7 - Research in Mathematics Education in Ireland

MEI 7, the seventh conference in the Research in Mathematics Education in Ireland series, will take place on 11 - 12 October on the St Patrick’s Campus of Dublin City University. The conference schedule and all information is available on the website.

The conference theme Mathematical Literacy, throughout and beyond education aims to foreground learners’ engagement with mathematics at all stages of the education system, and their development of mathematical proficiency within and beyond formal classroom settings.

Paola Valero and Natthapoj Vincent Trakulphadetkrai will deliver keynote addresses and we will hold two symposia, one focusing on curriculum change, and one on mathematics teaching efficacy beliefs. In addition, there will be 12 parallel sessions, where many current issues and pertinent topics relating to mathematics education will be presented and discussed.
