Potential applicants should read the Call for SALIS PhD Scholarship carefully to ascertain whether or not they are eligible to apply. Applicants must apply using the application form provided below. Candidates should email their applications in a single pdf file to the SALIS School Office (salis.office@dcu.ie) with "SALIS PhD scholarships 2025" or "PhD in Translation Studies" in the subject line.

We are particularly interested in receiving research proposals in the following areas:
Applied Linguistics; Cultural Studies; Intercultural Studies, Migration Studies; Literary and Visual Studies; Gender and Sexuality Studies; Translation Studies; Citizenship Studies; and Interdisciplinary Research.

Key Dates:

Deadline of Application: Tuesday 18th March 2025, 17:00 (Irish time).

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within three weeks of the application deadline and invited to interview in April.

Final decisions will be communicated to applicants shortly after the interview.
