Application for Early Release of Parchment | Registry
Overview
There may be situations where a student requires the issuing of their award parchment in advance of the next scheduled graduation ceremony. This process allows students who have successfully completed all elements for their award and who are in good standing with the University to make such an application. This process will be available in advance of Autumn and Spring graduation.
The parchment issued on foot of this application will be a single copy issued by the University. Any future requests for parchments must follow the replacement parchment process.
The application window is currently open for those who have successfully passed all required elements for their award and who are in good standing with the University following publication of results on 1st November 2024.
Deadline for application in advance of Spring Graduation 2025 is 4pm on Friday 10th January 2025.
This is a strict cut-off deadline. There are no exceptions.

Please allow two to three weeks for processing following submission of the application. Note: Applications cannot be released before the meeting of the Appeals Board on 22nd November 2024.
Registry reserves the right to seek evidence of the reason stipulated for the application.
