Physics Education Researcher

ir. (M.Sc. equivalent) in Engineering Physics (1994) at Eindhoven University of Technology. Ph.D. degree in Atomic Physics awarded in 1998 at University College Dublin.

Postdoctoral research in the Centre for Laser Plasma Research at DCU (1997-2000); working on XUV photoabsorption of silicon and uranium. Appointed to assistant lecturer post in DCU in 2000. Appointed to permanent (tenured) post in 2002 with Physics Education as remit. (Senior) Lecturer/Associate Professor in School of Physical Sciences 2002-present.
