Ger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, business analysis and web development. Currently, he holds a dual role as a Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst at Dublin City University’s Information Systems Services department.
Ger holds a dual role as a Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst at Dublin City University’s Information Systems Services department. He oversees both internal and external IT projects managed by the department. His meticulous approach ensures successful project execution.
Ger collaborates closely with various departments, providing valuable guidance on aligning business requirements with effective IT solutions. Ger’s leadership ensures seamless project delivery, meeting deadlines and exceeding stakeholder expectations.
Previously, Ger served as the Senior Web Development specialist at Dublin City University. In this role, he managed all web real estate, including the main www.dcu.ie Drupal-based website. He also handled interactive Symfony/PHP services that integrated DCU’s information infrastructure.
Ger’s creative flair extends beyond IT. He has a rich background in media production.
As a director, producer, editor, designer, and scriptwriter, he has worked on diverse projects. These range from news and magazine-style programs to documentaries and dramas.
He holds a MS in Multimedia and a BA in Communications, both from Dublin City University.
