Course Description
In this course, we present an introduction to Intellectual Property (IP) at DCU. We define Intellectual Property as a concept, highlight its importance, and explore the differences between the various types of IP. We examine trade secrets, non-disclosure agreements and trademarks. We investigate copyright, moral rights and the features of patents. And finally, we consider how to comply with DCU agreements when commercialising IP.
