Am I eligible?

The course must be a DCU undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme.

The course should be relevant to the applicant's current role and of benefit to the university.

The applicant should have completed their probationary period and/or have at least one year's service before starting the qualification.

The applicant must hold a contract of employment that extends beyond the completion date of the course.

The applicant must receive the approval of the head of school/unit and authorisation from the human resources department.
How do I apply?

The application process must be made for each year of the course.
A fee waiver may be granted to eligible staff based on the criteria set out below.

It’s only possible to take part if places are available after full fee-paying places have been allocated.

We must consider applications in the context of any financial constraints facing the university.

The fee waiver does not apply beyond the date your contract of employment ends.

You can’t use the fee waiver to cover the cost of repeat modules and examinations.

Short courses or conferences are not covered by the scheme.
