- pre 6th April 1995 : Class D PRSI – Non New Entrant (NNE)
- between 6th April 1995 and 31st March 2004 : Class A PRSI – NNE
- on or after 1st April 2004 : Class A PRSI – New Entrant
- on or after 1st January 2013 (new Single Scheme)
