"I am delighted to welcome you to the DCU community. As a new member of staff, I hope that you are settling into your role and are beginning to get a sense of what Dublin City University is all about.

Our University strategy is designed as a ‘plan on a page’ and will give you a straightforward introduction to our aims and vision for the future.

As you’ll see, one of the pillars of this plan is a commitment to ‘Value and Develop Our Staff Community’. This sets out our ambitions to enhance the staff experience by growing our sense of connection, developing talent, and ensuring we are a truly inclusive workplace.

To achieve these aims, we are guided by the University’s values, which are Student Focused, Open, Collegial, Collaborative, Ambitious and Inclusive.

By living these values, we ensure that DCU is a great place to work - a place where each of us can make a valuable contribution to our University’s mission ‘to transform lives and societies’"
