Family business researcher at DCU recognised by award for excellence in research
After a busy year of family business research, which has provided much food for thought in journal publications, reports and conference presentations, the year comes to a close with an accolade for DCU National Centre for Family Business researcher, Dr Jordan Gamble.
After presenting research at the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC) in June this year, Jordan and co-authors; Clay Dibrell, Chelsea Sherlock, and Gabby Swabb, have been named the 2018 BCERC Award recipients for Babson College Bertarelli Family Award for Excellence in Research on the Topic of Family Entrepreneurship.
The paper, 'Family Governance and Firm Innovativeness: The Motivating Roles of Family Pride and Founding Generation Involvement', was written while Jordan was on a visiting professorship at the University of Mississippi last summer. The Awards Dinner will take place at the 2019 BCERC.
