Prof James Davis
Prof James Davis is a member of the DCU National Centre for Family Business Scientific Committee. He is affiliated with Utah State University USA.
Research expertise: Prof Davis’ research and teaching interests include family business, trust, stewardship, and entrepreneurship. He is a globally recognised scholar whose research has been published in journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal and Journal of Applied Pyschology. He has served on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Review, and now sits on the editorial boards of Family Business Review, the Journal of Venture Capital and the Journal of Trust Research. Prior to arriving at Utah State University, Prof Davis was the founding director of the Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Notre Dame receiving the NASDAQ Center of Excellence Award. In 2001, he was awarded Purdue University’s German International School of Management Administration Outstanding Professor.
