Prof Carlo Salvato
Prof Carlo Salvato is a member of the DCU National Centre for Family Business Scientific Committee. He is affiliated with Bocconi University, Italy.
Research expertise: Prof Salvato’s research and teaching interests include entrepreneurship, organisational capabilities, and family business. He is a globally recognised scholar whose research has been published in journals such as the Organization Science, Journal of Management Studies and Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice. Prof Salvato has also served as an Associate Editor of Family Business Review. He has been Chair of the Academy of Management Entrepreneurship Division. He is currently Vice Chair of the Family Firm Institute, where he is also Dean of Faculty of the GEN training programme. Prof Salvato won the Family Firm Institute’s Barbara Hollander Award in 2016.
