Families Forward Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Family Firms
Dr Eric Clinton, Director of NCFB, recently attended the Families Forward Conference on artificial intelligence hosted in Los Angeles by Arizona State University, Thunderbird School of Global Management and Dublin City University. The conference brought together some of the brightest minds from across the globe to share their insights on the role of artificial intelligence for family firms. Dr Clinton gained valuable insights from the keynote speakers and family businesses in attendance.
Families Forward Conference 2024
Over the two-day event, more than 15 keynote speakers shared their expertise. Dr Clinton had the opportunity to meet some notable personalities including Glenn Eden, the inventor of the laptop computer, Michael Stern (co-founder and General Counsel of General Magic, which invented the smartphone and cloud computing), and Fernando Garibay, who has worked with many of the world's leading music elite including Lady Gaga and Beyonce.
Conference attendees learned about the use of artificial intelligence in various fields such as reducing anxiety, car automation, global logistics, personalised customer service, crop rotation, public transport efficiency, and even choosing the ideal perfume!
