Dr Peter Robbins
Dr Peter Robbins is Assistant Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at DCU Business School. He is a core member of the National Centre for Family Business.
Dr Robbins is one of Ireland’s foremost experts in innovation, new product and service development. He is a former head of the Department of Design Innovation in Maynooth University and was global head of innovation excellence for GlaxoSmithKline leading many worldwide new product launches for Lucozade, Aquafresh, Ribena and many others. Peter’s PhD is in innovation and his research has continued to focus on how businesses organise for innovation. He has published in R&D Management, the Irish Journal of Management, and International Journal of Innovation Management. He is a member of the Government’s National Design Forum and is on the National Standards Advisory Board for Innovation Management. Peter regularly presents at international conferences on the subject of managing creativity, design thinking and innovation.
