Academic biography

Dr. Antony Kho is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Dublin City University. He obtained his MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from University of Nottingham Malaysia in 2017. He then underwent his PhD in the area of computational modelling of saline-infused radiofrequency ablation at Monash University Malaysia and was awarded his PhD degree in 2021. After his PhD, Dr. Kho joined University College Dublin (UCD) as a Postdoctoral Researcher during 2022-2023, in which his research was focused on the development of experimental and computational models for subcutaneous drug delivery. His research in UCD was a collaboration with both I-Form and BD (Becton, Dicksinson and Company). During his time in UCD, Dr. Kho also collaborated with a surgeon from Mater Hospital in a pre-clinical trial of tendon weaving techniques.
