Dr Valesca Lima and Aishling Silke Officially Launch the Erasmus+ ENHANCE Project Website
The School of Law and Government is excited to announce the launch of the ENHANCE (Empowering Higher Education through Citizen Science) project website. It is a new digital platform dedicated to empowering higher education through citizen science and innovative future-oriented learning strategies. This initiative, funded by the ERASMUS+ programme, aims to shine a light on alternative ways of being by using Futures Workshops to create new solutions to the problems of the 21st century, from small changes within communities to national and international issues. Futures Workshops provide a space for shared dialogue and stimulate the imagination to break the mindset instilled in so many that there is no alternative. Through Futures Workshops, the project creates new solutions to contemporary problems, from local community issues to global challenges.
Key features of the website include information about the project, its objectives, and the team behind ENHANCE, as well as details on Futures Workshops and how they facilitate shared dialogue and innovative problem-solving. The platform also provides access to tools, training materials, and support for researchers and participants, along with news and updates related to the project.
The website serves as a space to connect researchers, policymakers, and the general public, encouraging engagement with the ENHANCE project. Project PIs Dr Valesca Lima (DCU School of Law and Government) and Aishling Silke (DCU School of Language, Literacy & Early Childhood Education) invite all interested individuals to join the community in implementing Futures Workshops and advancing citizen science innovations in Ireland and beyond.
Visit the website at ENHANCE Project Website and follow the project on LinkedIn for more updates.
ENHANCE is funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS+ programme (Project number 2023-1-IE02-KA220-HED-000166514 – Cooperation partnerships in higher education).
