Bertie Ahern launches Routledge Handbook of State Recognition
Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern launched Routledge Handbook of State Recognition on Monday evening at an event held in Purcell House, DCU Al Hallows Campus. The former Irish statesman, who is intimately involved in Bougainville peace process in Papua New Guinea, lauded the hard work and sincere efforts taken by the book editors, Prof. John Doyle and Dr. Gezim Visoka of DCU and Prof. Edward Newman of University of Leeds.
The new handbook provides a comprehensive and multidisciplinary overview of the theoretical and empirical aspects of state recognition in international politics. Students of foreign policy, international relations, international law, comparative politics and area studies will find the handbook of great interest.
The book is available for purchase from Routledge website.
