Prof Nicolas Levrat to present paper at DCU on right to self determination
Professor Nicolas Levrat of Public International Law at the Graduate Institute in Geneva will present a paper entitled "The Right to National Self Determination in the EU: A Legal Investigation" on Wednesday, 10 October, at 1200 in room CG35, Henry Grattan building in Dublin City University. The paper is part of the 'Euborders Working Papers'.
The 'Euborders Working Papers' are part of the “Borders, sovereignty and self-determination” research project, which is coordinated by the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI), the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies (University of Leuven) and the Centre on Constitutional Change (CCC, Edinburgh).
Euborders Working Papers ask how the new European multi-level scenario influences politics and policy in contemporary Europe. They explore and discuss how the variable geographies of European borders may affect the issue of sovereignty and national self-determination.
