Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport and SeeBeyondBorders

The DCU Institute of Education welcomed delegates from the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport and SeeBeyondBorders to the St Patrick’s Campus. Among the objectives of the visit were; to inform Institute of Education personnel of the opportunities and challenges facing education development in Cambodia today; to study teacher preparation policy and practice in Ireland and potential learning for Cambodian reform efforts; to identify areas of research collaboration; to learn about the Development and Intercultural Education (DICE) Project in primary initial teacher education. There was an excellent exchange of information and ideas and we look forward to future collaboration.
