DCU IoE Students at European XC Championship

Two DCU Institute of Education students (BEd2) will represent Ireland in the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon, Portugal on Sunday December 8th. Jodie McCann (Dublin City Harriers) will run in the Under 20 Women's race while Jamie Battle (Mullingar Harriers) will run in the Under 20 Men's Race. They both earned selection with fine performances in the National Championships in Dublin two weeks ago. Jodie won the women's race with a really impressive performance while Jamie worked very hard to retain a hotly contested fourth place to earn selection. Both athletes are supported by DCU Sports Scholarships.
