IRSCL Edited Book Award, 2019

Congratulations to Dr Keith O’Sullivan, associate professor in the School of English, DCU, and his co-editor Dr Pádraic Whyte (TCD), on the recent success of their publication Children’s Literature Collections: Approaches to Research (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017).

The collection was the winner of the prestigious Edited Book of the Year award at the 24th Biennial Congress of the International Research Society for Children’s Literature in Stockholm, Sweden.

Speaking about the award, Dr O’Sullivan said, ’the award is recognition of the hard work that the contributors, publisher and editors put into bringing this unique book to fruition and with providing scholars with one of the first, if not the first, book-length study for advanced research in children’s literature in collections’.
