Dr Garrick Allen wins Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award

Dr Garrick Allen, Lecturer in New Testament in the School of Theology, Philosophy, and Music, was one of ten recipients of the Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award for Theological Promise for his book The Book of Revelation and Early Jewish Textual Culture (Cambridge University Press, 2017). Winners are selected by the Research Center for International and Interdisciplinary Theology (FIIT) of the University of Heidelberg and awards given to the ten top dissertations or first books in biblical or theological studies written by scholars under the age of 35. Dr Allen will receive his award on 17 May 2019 in Heidelberg.
