Book Launch - Childrens Literature Collections: Approaches to Research

Children’s Literature Collections: Approaches to Research, edited by Keith O’Sullivan (DCU School of English and Centre for Children’s Literature and Culture) and Pádraic Whyte (TCD), and published by Palgrave Macmillan, was officially launched by Dr Lucy Pearson, lecturer in children’s literature at Newcastle University, UK.

At the well-attended launch event on 28 September 2017, in DCU Library, St Patrick’s Campus, Dr Pearson praised the volume for bringing children’s literature collections and archives to the fore of scholarship in the discipline. Describing the volume as a beautiful production and a significant contribution to children’s literature studies, she hoped that it would also be the catalyst for further explorations of literary collections and archives worldwide.
