DCU students raise the bar at National Moot Competition
DCU Law & Government students made a clean sweep at the recent National Moot Court Competition. Sponsored by Matheson, the annual competition for law students from across the country took took place in the Criminal Courts of Justice and was adjudicated upon by various distinguished judges, senior counsel and legal professionals.
With twenty four teams competing from across all the Irish Law Schools, two teams from DCU reached the final with the team of Davy Lalor, Fergal McMorrow and Rebecca Moyles ultimately triumphing over the team of Ciaran Campbell, Patrick Dunne and Davin McGloin. Davy Lalor was also named best individual speaker. Finally, the team of Anna Antonova, Leann Digney and Tanja Tahvanainen won best memorial for written submission.
This brace of wins is a significant achievement for DCU School of Law & Government and our students.
