A specialist in early modern philosophy, Dr Youpa has published widely on ethics and ethical theory. He is joint editor of Essays on Spinoza's Ethical Theory (Oxford, 2014) and a contributor to The Cambridge Companion to Spinoza's 'Ethics'.
