The Ethics of Interpreting covers ethics in all settings including healthcare, legal interpreting in garda stations and courts, social protection and international protection. Students will have the opportunity to share their experiences of how they have dealt with real life ethical dilemmas and to learn about best practice approaches and codes of ethics. The end of course assessment will be an academic essay. This course will be taught online on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. commencing on 15th January and ending by 13th April.

- Applicants should hold at least the equivalent of a 2 (ii) undergraduate degree in any discipline
- The closing date for applications is 6 p.m. on 2nd of January 2025
Please Note: Applicants may not apply to take more than 30 credits of micro-credentials.

(2) Academic Transcripts for each and every year of study with English translation, if applicable
(3) If applicable, applicants must provide evidence of competence in the English language as per DCU entry requirements. Please see this link for details.

- Why you wish to study the programme;
- Your experience/proficiency with the languages you use or plan to use as an interpreter
