Japanese Ambassador visits DCU's O'Reilly Library for Poster Exhibition on Hiroshima & Nagasaki
DCU's School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies (SALIS) was delighted to launch the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Photo Poster Exhibition hosted by the O'Reilly Library from 17th October to 31st October 2024, ahead of next year's 80th anniversary.
The exhibition was launched by His Excellency Norio Maruyama, Ambassador of Japan in Ireland, by Professor Daire Keogh, President, DCU, and Derek Hand, Dean, Humanities and Social Sciences on Thursday, 17th October at 11.40 am in the Information Commons of the O'Reilly Library, DCU Glasnevin Campus. Keisuke Honda and Agnès Maillot from SALIS supported the event and Laura Mahoney, Executive Director of Engagement was in attendance too.
