Dr Colum Kenny, DCU announced the launch of his forthcoming book on the character of Éamon de Valera
Dr Colum Kenny, professor emeritus DCU, announced in Spain details of his forthcoming book on the character of Éamon de Valera (Eastwood Books).
He did so in the presence of Ireland’s Ambassador to Spain, His Excellency Frank Smyth, who himself is a graduate of DCU with a Masters in Journalism degree.
Kenny was speaking in Toledo at the 76th conference of the International Commission for the History of Representative and Parliamentary Institutions, where he delivered a paper on de Valera's search for Spanish connections.
