Reconnect with DCU
DCU Alumni is a 110,000 strong community of graduates all across the world.
Networking
The Alumni Office organises frequent reunions, international alumni chapters, networking events including our Emerging Leaders series and our Alumni Christmas Dinner. Events have taken place around the world, from Dublin to Madrid, San Francisco, Paris, Washington, Singapore, London and many more.
Every summer, in July and August, the Alumni Office hosts its famed All-Ireland brunches on DCU’s St Patrick’s campus. The events offer pre-match chat, a panel discussion with former intercounty DCU alumni, refreshments and free parking for the match, all just ten minutes away from Croke Park.
Mentoring
DCU’s student mentoring programme pairs second-year students with alumni mentors for the purpose of career and personal development.
The award winning programme runs for six-months between November and April and is an opportunity for alumni to help and guide students as they study and prepare for the world of work.
Reduced Masters’ fee
All DCU graduates are eligible for a 10% reduction in Masters’ fees. It applies to all full time and part time taught Masters’ programmes.
Speaking about the Reconnect with DCU campaign, Ross Munnelly, Director of Alumni in DCU said
“DCU is a university that puts community at the heart of what we do, a sense of belonging. Your journey with DCU doesn’t end when you pick up your parchment, being part of the DCU alumni community is something that’s lifelong.
"So whether you’re a recent graduate or you got your degree 40 years ago, we at the Alumni Office are always looking to reconnect and welcome you back to the alumni community. All you need to do is update your contact details on our Keep in Touch page and we’ll take it from there.”
