All postgraduate research applications made for commencement BEFORE 1st September 2024 will be processed through the DCU student application portal.

All postgraduate research applications made for commencement AFTER 1st September 2024, will require the applicant to complete a pre-application form to begin the application process.
Once this form has been reviewed, the applicant will be sent information via email around how to progress their application to DCU.

Each postgraduate research student, full-time or part-time, can apply in the period of his or her studentship for a Conference and Travel Grant from the DCU Research Committee. The scheme is administered through the Graduate Studies Office (GSO), based in LG15A in the McNulty Building.
