DCU is delighted to announce a screening of the award-winning feature film ‘Róise & Frank’ on Monday the 7th of April 2025.

It will be followed by a 20-minute conversation and Q&A with DCU Alumni, Rachael Moriarty and Peter Murphy, Writers and Directors of the film. 

The Q&A will be moderated by Muireann Ní Chíobháin, DCU Irish Language Writer in Residence 2024, and there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience.

DCU was delighted to announce a screening of the Oscar nominated award-winning feature film An Cailín Ciúin. It was followed by a 20-minute conversation and Q&A with producer Cleona Ní Chrualaoi, DCU Alumni, and director Colm Bairéad. The Q&A was moderated by Muireann Ní Chíobháin, DCU Irish Language Writer in Residence 2024, and there was an opportunity for questions from the audience.

 

Arracht

Special Screening of the film Arracht

Date: Wednesday, 16th February 2022
Time: 6pm
Location: Seamus Heaney Theatre, Cregan Library, St. Patrick's Campus, DCU.

DCU was delighted to host a screening of the award-winning feature film 'Arracht' as part of our Oíche Airneáin series with Richie Conroy Writer-In-Residence 2021.

Arracht tells the story of Colmán Sharkey, a fisherman, father, husband, who is living in Connemara in 1845.

The film's writer and director, Tomás Ó Súilleabháin, was present to talk about the film and answer questions from the audience.
