

DCU partners with 30% Club Ireland for female scholarship
This scholarship is a fantastic opportunity, promoting gender balance, for women in engineering and computing.
The Faculty of Engineering and Computing, in collaboration with 30% Club Ireland, will offer one full-fee scholarship for a part-time female student on one of the following master’s programmes in the Faculty:
MSc in Computing (with Major options)
MEng in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (with Major options)
MEng in Electronic and Computing Engineering (with Major options)
30% Club Ireland:
The 30% Club Ireland strives to improve gender diversity in leadership roles and across organisations globally, with the support of Board Chairs and CEOs from medium and large companies. Established in 2015, the 30% Club Ireland's Irish Chapter encompasses more than 300 organisations and represents over 650,000 employees.
The 30% Club has partnered with various educational institutions to address the underrepresentation of women in post-graduate management programmes, by offering scholarships targeted at women. This collaboration has led to their new Executive Education Scholarship, launched in partnership with PwC.
Application Process:
Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements for their programme of interest and are advised to check the requirements on the course page. Applicants must also submit the following:
1. A curriculum vitae, which sets out qualifications and work experience (the CV should be limited to 3 pages).
2. A letter of application which outlines why the applicant should be considered for the scholarship (word limit is 750 words). The letter should indicate which postgraduate programme interests the applicant.
