Sport Ireland partners with Insight to explore performance data
Sport Ireland have announced an impactful collaboration with the Insight SFI Centre, signifying a major step forward in elevating the performance of athletes across diverse sports.
Led by Dr. Michael Scriney, Assistant Professor, School of Computing, Dublin City University (DCU), and supported by Dr. Asma Slaimi, Postdoctoral Researcher, the Insight team is committed to utilising state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies to derive actionable insights from intricate datasets. Through this partnership, the goal is to equip the Sport Ireland Institute with comprehensive data analytics solutions, facilitating a deeper comprehension of the extensive data pool collected and ultimately enhancing athlete performance. With these insights the Centre can develop solutions and tools which enhance service capability, the coaching process and ultimately impact performance of athletes.
