EY Entrepreneur of the Year
Congratulations to DCU Engineering graduate, David Moloney who has made the shortlist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014.
David, who graduated with a degree in Electronic Engineering from DCU’s Faculty of Computing & Engineering in 1985, has been nominated with his business partner, Sean Mitchell for the achievements of their fabless semiconductor company, Movidius. The company was founded in 2005 and is located in California, Dublin and Romania.
The EY Entrepreneur of the Year award is considered the world's most prestigious business award and is held in more than 140 cities and in more than 50 countries worldwide. The award covers 94% of the global economy and is continuing to grow. Entering the programme provides an opportunity for Ireland’s leading entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and celebrate their success.
The overall Ireland winner joins other country winners in Monte Carlo to vie for the title of World Entrepreneur Of The Year.
