Dhá Leagan Déag
Dhá Leagan Déag took place in Woodlock Hall Library, situated on All Hallows campus. Performers on the night included the most promising and innovative young sean-nós in Ireland today, siblings Séamus and Caoimhe Ó Flatharta and sisters Máire and Étáin Ní Churraion. This event coincided with the launch of Dhá Leagan Déag: Leárgais Nua ar an Sean-Nós, edited by Lillis Ó Laoire, et al. a new book about sean-nós singing in a modern context
This performance included a selection of sean-nós songs reimagined and presented with accompaniment and in harmony.
The event was open to local community members, DCU staff and students.
