DCU's Art Collection, initiated in the early 1990s, has developed through dedicated staff, strategic partnerships, and recent long-term loan acquisitions. Since 2018, this cultural legacy has been invigorated, driven by a new policy, philanthropic donations, expanded loan agreements, and an enhanced purchasing and commissioning programme, with support from DCU Educational Trust's philanthropic contributions.

DCU Art Collection Policy and Procedures

The purpose of the Policy is to define the process by which the University seeks to develop, care for and make accessible its art collection and to provide a cohesive approach to developing the DCU Art Collection, in line with the University’s vision, mission and values. The support documentation below should be read in tandem with the Policy.
